What Is a Good Electric Guitar but Not to Expensive?
I've been playing the acoustic guitar for a year now, and I love it. So I wanted to move up to the next stage, can someone please help me find a good electric guitar?

US $.99

CatCat is wrong… if u wanna get ur first electric guitar, it would have to be an Epiphone SG with a Raven 20 watt amp… the guitar is $169 and the amp $99
Do Not!! get a squier… the Epiphone is tough looks nice and is perfect for a beginner and the amp will blow your brains out.
Do Not go to a Pawn Shop
I don’t know about brand names of guitars. They are all noise to me. But, I do know, in this economy, you’ll find a good guitar for cheap at any pawn shop.
Get a Jackson, PRS, or Gibson
Gibson or Epiphone is a good next step. Check out the Les Paul models, Gibsons tend to cost more than Epiphones.
What guitar to get also depends on your playing style. Metal or more shred like material would we a Jackson, ESP, or Ibanez. Gibson, Epiphone, and Fender are great all around guitars, and you can usually get a good guitar for a decent price.
Check out http://www.musiciansfriend.com, and search those brands. Its a great website to use.
Epiphones are pretty good. They are a cheaper version of gibson, but the quality is still good.
you may want to get a little more of an advanced guitar. because if you purchase a lower level guitar, then your gunna have to pay for a higher skill lvled guitar….if u know what i mean….try getting a guitar which needs much more skill, that way you dont have to buy two guitars. try going with me on this. i played acoustic for a year just like u did. and on december, for christmas, i got a gibson SG special faded, which is kinda too good for me, but at least now that i have advanced i dont have a crappy guitar to play with which is too simple for me…
