TC Electronics G-System Review From Guitar One Mag

micheal Ross does all the filer effects on this now defunct Magazine. Guitar World gobbled them up. So now we have to look at tattoed dudes and screamo artists, to read about new stuff in the guitar world. so with the G1mag defunct, I thought it was ok to load this, for the world to see. Not a bad review. also see TCelectronic for worship 1 and 2.

ahh i want the settings for that ambient volume swell….does anyone know?

  2. petruccirocks02 says:

    no chorus demo?

  3. EscpdFrmPsykward says:

This guy has all the charisma of a dry sponge… But the G System backs me happy.

  4. firecaptainof4 says:

    Sounds like a reverse delay!

  5. geetar83 says:

ugly headstock, and 1 tuner on the bottom, seems somewhat uneccessay just to be different…

otherwise the demo is adequate, muffin sounded nice.

as for the volume swell, sounds like delay with the highs reduced and some thick reverb high in the mix… just experiment :)

  6. skycaptain141 says:

    what shcecter model is that

  7. laughingboy0068 says:

I did watch a video where they ran one of these things over with a tank, however, I don’t know that it is worth 3-5 times more than comparable units.

  8. PatrikForLife says:

It might cost more, but you have to remember that you’re paying for Tc Electronic, which is one of the better brands in the industry. They’re known for their high quality effects..

  9. CleverDjembe says:

Sounds like ish, costs more than a decent car.

  10. mickscrill says:

I cant use this g-system as i dont have a trem on my guit….

  11. hubar1565 says:

You’d think, for that money, that you would get some nice overdrives/distortions. The flexibility and quality with everything else seems great but I just can’t get over the price.

  12. stratdoc says:

Boards are better. I can layer my overdrive to distortion with Blackwell tube overdrive next to a Fulltone overdrive distortion which is more of a Gemanium fuzz and tube screamer with a great boost feature. I like the line 6 delay for it’s flexability and it’s small. The Eventide Modfactor amazes with chorus, flang, rotary, trem, vibra. I have used the Digitech Mod factory which has a clyde and crybaby tone as well as a whammy and rotary. HolyGrail nails reverb. Marshall JVM 4 channels..Done!

  13. meatwizard says:

@stratdoc Yeah, or one dual OD pedal (Jetdrive), G-System, 1×12 combo, and a crowd that won’t hear the subtle differences…Done!

  14. themikeaustin says:

If you watch “It Might Get Loud”, you’ll see that this rig is part of The Edge’s setup…
