Hi MrTiax, yes, agree with you it does sound like that, but I think it’s a case that by his own addmission, Peter would say that he is a different person and certainly ‘player’ than he was then. Great to see him back (saw him at Ronny Scotts) but he’s a shadow of his former self, playing-wise…
this is a great dvd. Every serious guitar player should learn Peter Green’s stuff and Michael is the man to show you.

peter green phrasing is difficult to emulate
‘need your love so bad’ – i know all the notes and when to play them – but it doesnt sound quite the same – he was micro seconds in and out of the beat and phrasing like that CANNOT be written on a music score

one of the best DVDs i have . Mike is a fantastic guitarist and teacher. He really understands Peter Green. A great thing for guitarists of any level. You get a great lesson in the importance of feeling and touch. Its not the notes you play but how and when you play them. 10 out of 10. I any ready for peter green 2

Have just found this and I am definately going to buy it. I have the Claton licks DVD by mike and its awesome. He is a great player and teacher – which is rare. I have begun just looking for lessons by mike as he explains things (and demos them) better than many other IMHO

Wish lick library was around when i was a teenager,it was lifting the needle back and forward on the deck for me,Mike Caswell sharing his years of learning is a gift, trust me,whats a few quid for someone who can open so many doors and give you things you can use for a lifetime ,priceless,and a smashing modest guy aswell.Many thanks Mike,Georgie from Scotland.

Very nicely done. Peter Green was great guitarist, singer and composer. You did his work proud.
Nice to hear that guys still listen to the man of whom BB King said, “That’s my boy!” A higher accolade would be impossible to imagine.The things he did with blues licks are instantly recognisable and eternally memorable. Green should not be compared to Clapton – he is in an infinitely higher league.
