Maybe it is due to the fact that it is a collectors item as well……….
its not so much because it is a collectors series, just a more expensive line of guitars just so they can make more money jaja.. but they are not a collectors series either, they are pretty common to find and they are a standard production model…. just more expensive haha =]
does the neck have a laquer finish?

love music man. hate emgs tho. i got a silo spec instead of a luke and it suits me fine. like a sexy strat

the neck is just perfect, isn´t it? One of my best friends has one and every time I go to his place I can´t stop playing it

yeah i’d love this guitar if it didn’t have emgs, im a more traditional kind of guy when it comes to guitar and it sounds like you are the same

I LIKE MY LUKE, ONLY COMPLAINT IS i WISH THE LOW E WASNT SO CLOSE TO THE EDGE OF THE NECK.
I wonder if this is a common issue with all Musicman’s I have the same problem with my Axis
I’m sure its just the nut. I haven’t had it replaced. I just learned how to avoid it through habit. Tuning down a half step kind of helped me?

I used a Heritage Colonial amp, a ProAnalog Boost Royale and a Line Six Delay Modeler….and a 2×12 cab with aTone Tubby 12″ alnico and a Celestion Vintage 30 in it…..Great guitar, cool setup…Phil
