Some times it's fast ..sometimes it's slow.. just play the stuff you love All the stuff here is a result from just picking up the guitar and playing... Do the same.. every day! Jam No.1 super fast picking improvisation. As a kid i listenend to Malmsteen and Gilbert on 45 so i love to hear fast runs... I know some people hate this but i do not care.... Jam No.2 Now things are getting more musical. Here i jam against a looper and play very smooth and simple stuff based around the mixolydian scale. I love this scale... Jam No.3 Here it's a Lydian backingtrack and for the legatoplaying i use a Joe Satriani Ibanez and a sound with Delay.. This was a first take and happens by accident... this one is pretty dirty with some mistakes but at this day i was sooo happy to play.. Jam No.4 Here is one again simple but melodic guitar playing to bring the video to the end. I recorded it 10 minutes after Jam No.2 Hope you like the improvised guitar stuff. i wish all of you a lot of fun with your guitar.. cheers Volker

Well it’s very difficult to tell which guitar is my preferred….
For the slow melodic playing i often use this blue Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar or my Ibanez Flowerpower Steve Vai Jem.
For the more super fast playing i love to use the Ibanez John Petrucci Guitars.
So i love the Ibanez JPm , the Jems and the JS
to death…………….

What effects are you using in 1:50? is that distortion or just an overdrive?
