@robguitarist96
Not without an external mixer or audio interface.
@Xyrium
For sure, but this wasn’t a metal lesson
@TheShowBuds
Exactly right, and it does come with a power supply.
Hey can someone please help me. I got this Pod and I have to say that it sounds like Utter shite. The cleans are nice but the distortions are abysmal. I dont just mean “there not that good”. I mean there actually appaling. I use it with with my schecter with EMG-hz pickups and a 60w Peavey Studio Pro amp. Mabe I’m doing something wrong or missing somehting? Can anyone please suggest something to try. I just want a great metal tone from this as I hear there great for metal. Thanks.
@TheShowBuds please cud you help i reli need something decent like this because of the great sounds but i also need something to help me record. what do you mean by audio interface which goes in the the computer?
please answer i reli need to know
works it to download tones to the pod and then add them and play live. without a computer?
Please answer!
anyone know any good sounding settings??
can i play deathcore with this thing?
can you plug this into your computer , run it through pod farm and record?
pocket pod for life but the 2.0 remains good
could i record directly to a mac/pc with that? i mean, just connect the gutiar there, and with another wire connect with the mac and record in a program (fe: ableton live) or something?
after running the POD into an audio interface (for recording) how do you get the sound of the guitar externally? or how can the other members in the band hear the external sound of the guitar for recording?
My son and I just received one of these and it is wonderful. People say bad things about recording via the computer’s soundboard, saying the volume is low but I am not finding this problem. We take our favorite Bad Religion songs and add guitar tracks on top via Audacity which is very easy to use and export into wav files. A lot of fun and worth the money!
I want to get one of these, but I’ve watched a lot of other videos and the distortion doesn’t sound too good and I’d mainly be using it for metal/heavy rock. I’d probably get this instead of an amp that is around the same price, either this or the line 6 spider iv 15w. Which one would you recommend?
i have a question, if i have a line6 30 watt amp with effects built in like all other line6 amps
would it be a waste of my money to buy one of these?
what amp did you use with pod 2 ?
You look like Corey Taylor
what computer programs should i use when using this? I gotta PC by the way
@BrutalGrindCoreMetal They really are great for metal. By reading your name, I can tell you are into metal heavily. Anyways, look up musicman1066 on here, and he has some really good metal songs recorded on his Pod 2.0. It depends really on what software, what pedals, and what amps or speakers you are using.
Can you record with it ? can u connect it with usb to pc?
@TheShowBuds If your only wanting mono recording then its going to be the unbalanded input, on the unit itself is the left one I think, when your looking down at it.
But input through obviously a line in (ie no amplification to it) or it wouldnt sound right I dont think (being an audio tech myself, theres no point anyways).
How to get this metal sound q.Q ?
Ok i have no idea how these work, im kinda new to guitar…. basically i was looking to buy an amp but i love the tone you can get out of these… so would i be able to use one of these instead of an amp just for home practice? how do they work? obviously with an amp you just plug and play, isit as simple with one of these? probably stupid questions but like i said im clueless =/
This is a very helpful review. You explain the key features just as one guitar player would to another…thanks.
Hi, can I plug this into my amp? The Line 6 website says that I’ll have to turn off the AIR(modulator) to do that?
