Hey Dave keep rocking your videos are awesome! Doesn’t Yngwie Malmsteen use the scalloped fretboard? Does it really make a difference?
THANKS!
Because they’re directors
great lesson, ive taught myse;f these things over the past year and have become pretty good at it if i say so myself
KEEP ROCKIN
i think you have to use Youtube Uploader
Hi David, I’ve never seen your way to play that B major bar chord… Is your third finger pressing down all the first 4 strings, while your pinky is muting the first?
I usually take the ‘A-major shape’ up 2 frets and use my first finger to bar on the 2nd fret, but this one looks easier, especially on higher on the fretboard!
good lesson for beginners
Yeah on the B chord mute the low E with the tip of your first finger and thne press down on the 4th fret with your 3rd finger – press the D,G, and B strings
rock on!
DT
Where did you get that Stratocaster? It look awesome.
THats a fender moto stratocaster I bought new in the mid 90s when I lived on the east coast
rock on!

dude 20 changes! ill still practice but i bet ill get discouraged a couple times, then ill stop and try again later!
Yeah when I was first starting out barre chords were so difficult for me. This is an awesome exercise.
The only advice I would add to this is practice on an acoustic guitar if you can, that way when you’re playing on electric it’ll seem even easier! If you start out on those soft electric strings, when the time to play something acoustic comes your fingers might not have the strength..
Nice man! This is an awesome excercise! Not only that, you’re a great teacher! I’m showing this vid to my friends! Rock on bro!

I have to tell you guys, these are great exercises. I’ve been playing for 15 years and mostly taught myself. These exercises really help me fill in the gaps and take my playing up a lot. Thanks guys :^)
Betsybear 2001 that are tabs strings 6-5-4-3-2-1 and numbers represent fret you are playing on every string x means muted, so you dont play that string or mute it so it doesn´t make a sound
The fingering. The X shows that you don’t strum that string and
That’s pretty brutal. Glad I really don’t have a problem changing chords.
