For acoustic guitars the best tuner by far is the IntelliTouch model PT-1. Nothing else compares. Since it tunes by vibrations instead of sound, you can tune your guitar with ease even in a crowded, noisy room, which is a real advantage. When I play acoustic guitar with others, about 3/4 of them have the PT-1. I know it's expensive but don't settle for anything less.
