If One Already Knows How to Play Acoustic/classical Guitar, How Easy Is It to Learn to Play Electric Guitar?
I'm good at finger-picking style pieces and can play/bar chords easily, so (if I may say so myself) I'm not too bad, but I'm just wondering how easy it is to make the transition to electric guitar? I kind of need to learn to play an electric guitar solo in three weeks, and I have never played on an electric guitar before actually, so does anyone have any advice?

the truth is….electric guitars are easier than acoustic!! Beginners begin with acoustic to form a base at first. Just that. You’ll be okay if you are good at acoustic. And good luck! =)
it’s pretty much the same…the neck on the electric is probably not as wide so a little adjustment may be needed…other than that…it’s still a guitar.
