to play the bass, you will need to learn the notes, as chords as such are not used in bass playing. Sometimes, two note harmonies are used that sound kinda like a chord, but it’s not a true chord. Bass generally plays single notes that fill the low end of music. There is no easy way. You just have to do it. There are many helpful lessons on you tube. Just enter "Beginner Bass Lessons" in the search box.
