Help Choosing a Beginning Electric Guitar.?
I've done a little looking around online for a good electric guitar for beginners and I've come to the choices:
Epi Les Paul Express
Epi Les Paul Special 2
Squier Strat (or fat strat)
I'm most curious about the epi express, apparently it's completely the same as a regular epi les paul except that it's a 22.0" scale. Though I can barely find anything about the express on the internet and it's a whole lot cheaper than a standard epi les paul so... I don't really know.
Also, I've no idea what's the difference between the fat strat and a regular strat, if anyone could elaborate a bit on that, that'd be great.
If anyone has a recommendation for another good beginning electric guitar, then you could mention that. Also, my price range is around 0 - 0.

The difference in the Epiphones is that the express is a lot smaller. There might be some other differences but that is the only one that is displayed. The difference between a Strat and a Fat Strat is that the Fat Strat has a humbucker pickup on it along with two single coils. The Strat has three single coils. Humbuckers have a bigger sound than the single coils do. I would get the Les Paul Special II or one of the Strats unless you like smaller guitars like the express.
Here is a picture of a covered humbucker. The fat strat has uncovered humbuckers so they look a little different: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P4080004.JPG
