You could work with 2 projects on GP5 all you have to do is open another GP5.
@megaluisdeth Yeah, that’s true…
@sitruc3000 Yeah, I have a back problem. Was ran over by a truck when I was a kid and can’t sit straight since then… :-/
@judgerudge123 In the trial version you can’t open tabs other than the example tabs.
@deathisfinegimmemine ohh balls…lol u got a product key for it floating about? =P lol
good review thanks for taking the time to post it for us. If GP6 can run all of my older GP tabs I will be upgrading.
Just got it for PC and it works out great! Way better then 5 or 5.2! The only thing that bothers me, and i cant get it done, is, just like in 5(.2), you could get different effects on different sections, without clicking on the effect. Can you explain how the effects work properly?
Thanks from the Netherlands
@Mastenbro What do you mean?
Change effects in he middle of a track?
@Wallimann No, more like going from clean to, for example, distortion without clicking on the effect. Just like the red dot does on Guitar pro 5(.2)
Great vid, I just got the GP6, its way better than GP5
@TheKnifeAndOnly Glad you like it!
I have the trial version and I can’t bring up the drums. I was also wondering can you switch back and forth to GP3,4,5 and 6 like you could do on GP5? So far i don’t like the whole new look. I think it’s stylish, but everything to me was more simple in GP5. If there is a view/model switcher where can i find this?
@wikidkilla4life It seems that the PC version might be different than the Mac..
Are you on PC? If so I don’t think I can help…
I have a question: In guitar pro 5 (i think thats what I used) it was possible to customize the tuning of your instrument by choosing the number of strings. Can you do that it 6 and if so, how? I ask because I write for a 5 string electric violin and I loved guitar pro 5 for that feature and its accesibility, but I cant seem to do that in guitar pro 6
@lurxtlifeson There is a little + sign on the top left of the track view. Click on it and you will be able to select a new instrument and change its tuning in the instrument panel.
I just got the trial version and im really confused. Can you download tabs and open them on the trial version? if so how? because im relatively new to this and not very good at it. I just download tabs and learn them, i dont make them
please help!!!!
@ab711p You should be able to just open them directly. What happens when you do?
@Wallimann maybe the trial version doesnt let u open tabs but im not sure. the full version does right? i downloaded a tab from 911 tabs and like i normally would click open on gp 5 but on gp6 i cnt find it
@ab711p Yeah, the full version does let you do that. Not sure about the demo.. :-/
@Wallimann ok thanks anyway
hyppys shet shet
i actually open 2 or more projects at the same time in gp5 too..
@TheBlackJacksItalia Really? By opening several instances of the software maybe?
@Wallimann exactly,they just made it easier and better looking in gp6
@TheBlackJacksItalia Ah ok, yeah I agree.
