Gibson Electric Guitar Book

What brand of acoustic guitar should I choose?
I know nothing about guitars. I want to learn guitar on my own, a book learning. I'm going to learn the acoustic guitar certainly not semi-electric. I know two good brands now and Squire Gibson. I just want to know more about these places and their models, where appropriate?? will be most useful if given the price range for them coming. Thanks in advance. Chat Kolkata, India ....
Let me say, do not get a boyfriend. I played three. One was half (from electric), one was poor (an acoustic guitar to begin with), and one was terrible (one start mini). Gibson is very good but very expensive ($ 800 +, but may be able to find for less). Seagull I'd say if you can find one. They are less than Gibson and these ($ 250 - $ 500), but in fact, they sound great. There are other brands out there that make great guitars for lower prices. Try to contact Ibanez and Yamaha too, I guess you can find well made guitars for about $ 200 or less.
