Electric Guitar Skills
The best way to advance the skills of the guitar on a budget?
I've been playing guitar for about 1 1/2- 2 years now and I am a little "stuck" at this time. I'm learning something new, and I have improved my game even tho I play often. I have been using free sites guitar primarily to learn chords and scales, and guitar tablature for a handful of songs. So I guess what I need is that nobody knows of any good source for improvement, either in the online class, or something I can ask (maybe a DVD in your hand?). I really do not want to take a lesson in one, because I want the freedom to play when I want more than a point, and I will not spend a whole hell of lot to do, is just a hobby and im not in a group or anything. Thank you. PS I play the electric guitar, and especially in the rock.
The local junior college where I live in music classes. They have the type with 6-8 people, but also have one-on-one classes are very cheap for an entire semester compared to paying someone your own. Basically, the studies are subsidized to some extent, I think. See for yourself in your area. Would have the teacher work schedule, but it would be a semester of teaching on the cheap. I think it's weekly or twice a week for training. Good luck!
