Electric Guitar Phaser
Tremolo pedal or Phase 90?
I recently started playing electric guitar and began searching the pedals. I distortion, wah, and some basic pedals. Now I wonder if I should get a tremolo pedal (Boss TR-2) for $ 80 or phaser (MXR M-101 Phase 90), also at $ 80. Thank you.
You can listen to me, but it is quite biased LoL. I'll take the tremolo. If you are looking to get into Alternative / Pop kind of rock music in particular I would go with the tremolo. You can do a lot of different things with it. The phaser, at least in power seems to be a distortion of fraud. And then it depends. If you have decided do something anything like guitar effects, go with the tremolo. Personally, I can not withstand the phaser lol.
