How can you connect a guitar Paul, who has already finished it?
I am building a Les Paul electric style of a kit. It has white binding on what I want when I wondered how to connect a guitar without having to take it to a luthier??
It depends how it was done. If the finish is through the link, you must remove the finish, then remove and replace the link. If you wanted to not fully binding, eliminating the link would be a bad idea because it is difficult and I left with a large ridge that you need to complete and you have a see-through end will be very bad.
