Electric Guitar Lessons Recommendations?
I have been waiting for a long time to learn how to play the guitar- the electric guitar specifically- so a couple of days ago I bought an esp electric guitar. I've been doing lots of research for online guitar lessons or books, audio or video tapes I can purchase, but all seemed either too simple or too complicated, when I say simple I mean for example 6 quick lessons teaching how to tune the guitar and 2 or 3 basic chords, when I say complicated I mean reading a dreaded book and trying to figure out how to play the guitar.
What I need:
Since I don't know how to read music I know that I will phase lots of difficulties. So I need a guide that will teach me the basics then progress to teaching me chords, how to find chords, different tunings -besides the standard one- and perhaps even harmonics and progress from there.
To all the people out there who taught your selves how to play the guitar and have mastered it, it would be great if you could tell me what mediums you've used and if they worked or not.
