Electric Guitar Headphones
How to wear a helmet with an electric guitar without using an amplifier or effects processor?
I understand that electric guitars and other preparations of electric stringed instruments have a collection of different impedance level of, say, a common stereo headphones. So if connect the headphones directly into the instrument, which will be damaged. To avoid this problem, use the headphone jack your guitar amp / processor effects plug in your headphones. My question is, is there a much simpler device that can be passively between the hull and the guitar? I really want to play guitar without to carry a bulky effects processor (which requires a power source) or an amplifier.
The impedance mismatch is not the problem - which could overcome through a small transformer.
