Electric Guitar Course
What instrument is better to play the guitar or saxophone jazz?
I like both, and I can play guitar pretty well, but I love jazz, and all my favorite players are the horn and sax players (besides the drums and bass of course). I do not know if part of the electric guitar modern jazz, free jazz and the like.
Guitar. It allows you to play chords and melody, and the fact that you already know how to play it becomes much easier. The great thing about the game is that agreements can play while the only other, adding a level of interaction. There are plenty of electric guitars in modern jazz, if you leave the horn dominated things. Find guitar bands and other artists like Jim Hall. And the noise level of the guitar and sax are often used in the same way with respect to the arrangements. I can not count the time a great band director gave me a role to play sax. The free jazz - that was a murderer in a few free jazz jams, there were only two guitars and a mandolin. And some that were 2 guitars, bass and high hat, snare drums. This is the mentality of the music is not playing instruments counts.
