OMG! i want to learn to play electric guitar too! i cant exactly answer your questions since i havnt started yet either. but im pretty sure that its not neccessary to pay for lessons. im pretty sure there are ways to teach yourself. but i have a friend who plays guitar. and my best friends boyfriend plays electric guitar in a band. so im pretty sure i could get some help. but im almost positive that if you are passionate about it that you can teach yourself to play.
well 150 guitar is exactly what it is. It’s 150 dollars and will sound like it. But seeing as how you can’t shred anyway, it will be just fine to learn with. Get like a Rage 358 Peavy amp, they are cheap enough. And I never took a lesson in my life and play in a band currently
