@96dtodd this guitar type was made back in the 60′s they wanted to call it the less paul custom, but les didnt want them to so it was named the ‘g400 les paul

@bmxconnor09 It was called Les Paul Solid Guitar, which main purpose was to innovate the Les Paul concept, threatened by the brand-new Strats and Teles, lighter and with modern shape. Later the name became SG which is simply the acronym of Solid Guitar.
@gunsnflamethrowers but my IF you knew anything about guitars you WOULD know that a low-end gibson is worse than a high-end epiphone…
@alexandroskonidaris a gibson sg special is not worse than high end epiphone, its actually a really good guitar my brother has an epi les paul cutsom and my friend has a gibson les paul studio, the studio sounds better, im not saying epiphone is bad but having a gibson feels more special

Shouldve used another amp for distortion…the hot rod deville sounds like ass distorted

@emosarecunts The SG was created when the Stratocaster, that has double cutaway came in… when Gibson saw it was defeating the Les Paul, they made the SG, that is a Les Paul with double cutaway, the Mr. Les Paul, saw that, and doesn´t want it, so they changed the name to SG for copyright and that things… so it´s a Les Paul with double cutaway…
