@AngelOfNight9 ok you’re right and i’m wrong. Although just like to point this out, Jimmy Hendrix once said in an interview that Jeff was his favorite guitarist. Secondly, both Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page explicitly said that Jeff was the best guitarist alive today. Jeff has played with Hendrix, Clapton, Page, and SRV and has several grammy awards and is enducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. You’re right. This guy wearing a mask and weird hat is more talented and cooler..

Love people who come out here and say Beck or whoever else is better then Buck. Buck is a fucking genius on multiple levels, period. He owns every GENRE on the guitar. He’s mastered the Bass. He can Dance. Martial Arts, and WHAAAAAAT??? Buck is God. Thanks for your opinion.
@magnapillow Hendrix, Clapton two very overrated guitarists. They were great for THEIR TIME. Hendrix will always be number one because he came first but in general he was sloppy and not even in the top 20 by today’s standards. None of the guys you mentioned have the technical abilities to pull off some of the stuff by guys like Bucket, Chris Imperitelli, Shawn lane, Vai, Satch, Jeff Loomis, Gilbert, Malmsteen, Petrucci and etc. All of which are better.
@magnapillow Page can have his opinion but it’s just that, an opinion. James Hetfield will tell you page was the best who ever played, Hammett will tell you Hendrix was the best, Bucket will tell you Lane was, Orianthi will tell you Vai was. It’s all opinion and old school guys like Page gives an opinion on Jeff it’s about that style of music he’s playing. Guitarists of today are on a whole nother level and can play anything. The blues/rock greats of the 60/70′s can’t it’s a fact.
@magnapillow so please go listen to Disembodied Part 1 and tell me Clapton, Page and etc could pull that off. They couldn’t but could Brian aka Bucket play ALL of their music with no trouble? Of course, without a doubt. And it has nothing to to with Buckethead’s mask and bucket appealing to look cooler, if anything it turned me away from wanting to know his music at first.

technicallity is simply a measurement of your speed it doesnt make you a musician.

old Buckethead, he truly knows how to jam on a guitar. This guy is one with the guitar if you will. He is very underrated as well, especially for his lead guitar work.
