@tjport1980 Exactly,I’m afraid to play with a long sleved shirt on….it might change colors rubbing against this thing. lol And people pay extra for this?
my stratocaster is a highway one, but it has a really nice wood stain, so it doesnt rub off easily at all. I love my strat, I think the highway ones are really reliable.
@foolintherain100 Yeah, they put a nice finish on some and left the finish off of others. No question about the reliability, they are just a bit lacking compared to the ones costing 2 and 3 times as much, which is to be expected.
@groovydjs well, i remember you said in one of your other reviews that you dont like guitar center, but ill send you a link to the one I have at thier web site, except mines stained of course! Ill send you a pm now.
hi groovydjs san. what´s the amp that ureusing for ur review? im trying to find a tele for me but its really wich one would fit better for me, im planning to test 3 tele but they are reaaly different, the tl 69 pink paisley jap basswood body, or a highway one alder body and both almost the same price and 52 hot rod wich is ash, all differents i think, do u also have a opinion about them?
thanks 4 a good review.
@bbshooter1221 I would have to honestly say that I personally like the Mexican Standards better. This particular version of the Highway One is meant for the vintage freaks I believe. Since it will look a hundred years old in a couple months of playing it. That was probably the intention of building it though. I’m not really impressed with it.
It’s going to be even lighter when the rest of the finish falls off. I used to have a beat
up Strat but I Now have a “RELIC” LOL!

@groovydjs they are. like you said, the minimum you can get out of an american strat.
@foolintherain100 Exactly. I’ll probably pick up one of the Highyway one Strats too. Which one would you suggest?
